Greetings everyone. This morning I’m going old school with the meal. Today I’m going to share a meal I sent out twenty years ago. It shows how we should listen to the Word. First we will pray.
Today’s Prayer
Father, today let us consider Your revelation to Apostle Paul which is recorded in the twelfth verse of the sixth chapter of Ephesians: “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against powers, against world forces of this darkness, against spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places.” Oh Lord, save us from ourselves! Open our eyes before we become mesmerized by those who would try to lead us astray for their own purposes. Help us realize that Satan often comes disguised as a seducer or temptress, a pretender, a deceiver, or a charming liar. Oh Lord, help us recognize the enemy, for fear that we be easily taken in. Help us stand firmly on Your Word and to trust You to put protective angels around us. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen and Amen.
Let’s eat.

According to His Mercy
Titus 3:3-5
Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other. But—“When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.
Is our Salvation According to His Riches
Philippians 4:19
And it is he who will supply all your needs from his riches in glory, because of what Christ Jesus has done for us.
Is our Supply According to His Power
Colossians 1:9-11
So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy,
Quote of the Day
Christ is a person so dear to the Father, that those who are in Christ need not be at all jealous of being accepted upon his account. If Christ is accepted they must of consequence be accepted, for they are in Christ, as members, as parts, as the same. They are the body of Christ, his flesh and his bones. They that are in Christ Jesus, are one spirit; and therefore, if God loves Christ Jesus, he must of necessity accept of those that are in him, and that are of him. But Christ is a person exceedingly dear to the Father, the Father’s love to the Son is really infinite. God necessarily loves the Son; God could as soon cease to be, as cease to love the Son. He is God’s elect, in whom his soul delighteth; he is his beloved Son, in whom he is ell pleased; he loved him before the foundation of the world, and had infinite delight in him from all eternity. ~Jonathan Edwards~
