LET GOD DRIVE AND YOU’LL NEVER BE LOST 12-19-17

Good morning and praise the Lord for the wonders of life He bestows on us. I was sitting and thinking about our provider when the following occurred to me; there’s nothing that will bring you more face-to-face with God than going through the dark valleys of life. When you are there, you are going to cling to His garments and hold onto His hand. You won’t stray far from the fold in the dark. The question now becomes do you believe that He is with you? When you put that reality in your spirit you will never walk alone. What a joyful promise! You are not alone! Write these words on a card and post it in a place where you can see it all the time:

“I am not alone. God is with me.”

Today’s Prayer

Father, all of us at one time or another in our lives have hesitated to turn our lives over to You for fear of what You might ask us to do; preach a sermon, hand out tracts, take a vow of poverty. But Lord, when we obeyed You, Your Spirit directed us to get our life in order – to clean out the closets of our houses and the closets of our hearts. To FORGIVE and FORGET even when we have been right. Lord, what peace and joy are ours when we surrender to You! Help us to be obedient to You and to trust You in all things. We will be careful to give you all honor and praise in Jesus name, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Let God Drive

Psalm 23

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. 2 He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. 3 He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. 4 Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. 5 You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. 6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

Quote of the Day

In the secret of God’s tabernacle no enemy can find us, and no troubles can reach us. The pride of man and the strife of tongues find no entrance into the pavilion of God. The secret of his presence is a more secure refuge than a thousand Gibraltar’s. I do not mean that no trials come. They may come in abundance, but they cannot penetrate into the sanctuary of the soul, and we may dwell in perfect peace even in the midst of life fiercest storms.
