Mel has been a trusted friend and adviser to the founder for the past couple years. He brings a wealth ministry experience with him. He is currently Pastor of Congregational Care and Outreach for  New Community Church in Park Forest Illinois. He has over 25 years of service in multiple ministries it that time frame. His experience is an integral part of the spiritual formation component of the foundation with strong mentoring skills. He is married to Ann and they have 2 grownup children. He is retired from United Parcel service after 32 years of service
