The Believer’s Inalienable Possessions 08-06-18

Good morning and welcome to another new day in this journey through the rest of your life on earth. Every day is a fresh start and another step toward who God wants you to be. Let Him mold you. Today’s message is about Believer’s Inalienable Possessions

Today’s Prayer

Dear Lord, Many are the wonderful works which You have done. You have put a new song in my mouth and praise in my heart. You gave new life to my steps and peace in my soul. You have lifted me up and placed me upon solid ground. Thank you. May my life bless You and my Words exalt You, O Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Let’s eat.

The Believer’s Inalienable Possessions

A Life which cannot be destroyed

King James

John 10:28

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Living Bible

John 10:28

I give them eternal life and they shall never perish. No one shall snatch them away from me,

A Relationship which cannot be Broken

King James

John 1:12

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

A Peace which cannot be Taken

King James

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Living Bible

John 14:27

“I am leaving you with a gift–peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

An Inheritance which cannot be Defiled

King James

1 Peter 1:4

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Living Bible

1 Peter 1:4

And God has reserved for his children the priceless gift of eternal life; it is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.

Quote of the Day

If we try to contemplate God without having turned the face of our inner self entirely in His direction, we will end up inevitably by contemplating ourselves, and we will perhaps plunge into the abyss of warm darkness which is our own sensible nature. That is not a darkness in which one can safely remain passive.
