Healing Before Ministry 04-26-16

(CLICK THE PICTURE) Good morning everyone. We are so very fortunate to be children of God. We get to walk in the favor of His mercy and grace. Introduce someone to your father and His son today! The content of today’s message has been shared by me before and it has come back around. Let it bless you.

Today’s Prayer
(based on 2 Corinthians 5:17-21)

Father, I am in Christ, a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Thank You, who has reconciled me to Yourself through Jesus Christ, and has given me the ministry or reconciliation, that is, that You were in Christ reconciling the world to Yourself, not imputing our trespasses to us, and have committed to us the Word of reconciliation. Now then, I am an ambassador for Christ, and my brothers and sisters in Christ are also ambassadors for Christ, as through You were pleading through us. For You made Jesus who knew no sin to be sin for me, for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Jesus. I am Your child and Your vessel. Please minister through me to touch the world around me. Thank You God, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Let’s eat.

Healing Before Ministry

And after the whole nation had been circumcised, they remained where they were in camp until they were healed. – Joshua 5:8

This message is an eye opener for someone. Upon writing, reading and letting the word hit my spirit, I felt compelled to share my revelation. The bible tells us that before the nation of Israel could go into the Promised Land they had to be circumcised. Circumcision is painful, bloody, and personal. God requires each of us to be circumcised in heart before we are allowed to enter and receive the blessings that await each believer in the Promised Land.

This circumcision can often be very painful. Circumcision requires losing our old way of life. The process of spiritual circumcision may mean a loss in areas that have been a part of our lives in order to draw us to the Savior. God understands this. Consequently, like the people of Israel, we must wait until we are healed before we begin to be effective in our calling. If we launch out too early, we will be ineffective and may risk infection and disease and will not be at our full capacity. God wants each of us to walk in His healing grace.

The people of Israel fought only two battles when they were coming out of Egypt. In the Promised Land they fought 39 battles. Each of us must be prepared to enjoy the benefits of living in the Promised Land. However, we must also be prepared to wage war against the enemy of our souls. Make sure the Lord has provided the needed healing to your circumcision experience before you enter the Promised Land.

Quote of the Day

We are at this moment as close to God as we really choose to be. True, there are times when we would like to know a deeper intimacy, but when it comes to the point, we are not prepared to pay the price involved.
