It seems that the Holy Spirit has me in teaching mode so I’m just flowing the way I’m led. This message sets order for where we should be in our walk with the world. Please take close note to what the word says.
Today’s Prayer
Father, where we can change our condition for the better, give us the wisdom and courage to do so. Where we cannot change our circumstances, help us to take control and change our attitude. Let us adopt a positive attitude that will glorify You, and may our problems become opportunities for service. “As a man thinketh”* — help us to see, Lord, that how we choose to think will influence our future. Is our cup half empty, or is it half full? We can be optimistic, or we can choose to think negatively and witness to the weakness of our faith, and help to bring on the disaster that we dread. It’s up to us, isn’t it? We present these and all things to You in the wonderful name of Jesus, Amen.
Let’s eat.

Not Conformed to the World

– John 17:15 –
I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one.
Love not the World
– 1 John 2:16 –
For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.
– 2 Tim. 4:10 –
Demas has deserted me because he loves the things of this life and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus has gone to Dalmatia.
Passing through the World
– 1 Peter 2:11 –
Dear friends, I warn you as “temporary residents and foreigners” to keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very souls.
No Friendship with the World
– James 4:4 –
You adulterers![a] Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.
– James 1:27 –
Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.
