ASSURANCE 11-14-21

_ 061514 Assurance

Praise the Lord for another day and another chance to get on the right path. The message today is short and very powerful. Let it bless you.

Today’s Prayer

Father, I come before you on behalf of my brothers and sisters in Christ to say thanks. Thank you for your ever present love and compassion. Your word tells us that we all fall short but you love and care for us anyway. As we go through this day, continue to guide us down the right path and when we fall, continue to pick us up. We ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Much Assurance

Full Assurance of Faith

Hebrews 10:22

let us go right in, to God himself, with true hearts fully trusting him to receive us, because we have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and because our bodies have been washed with pure water.

Full Assurance of Understanding

Colossians 2:2

This is what I have asked of God for you: that you will be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love and that you will have the rich experience of knowing Christ with real certainty and clear understanding. For God’s secret plan, now at last made known, is Christ himself.

Full Assurance of Hope

Hebrews 6:11

And we are anxious that you keep right on loving others as long as life lasts, so that you will get your full reward.

1. The first comes from Confidence in Christ’s Perfect Work.

2. The second flows from Christ’s Peerless Person.

3. The third comes in Christ’s Personal Return.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

He has great tranquility of heart who cares neither for the praises nor the fault-finding of men. He will easily be content and pacified, whose conscience is pure. You are not holier if you are praised, nor the more worthless if you are found fault with. What you are, that you are; neither by word can you be made greater than what you are in the sight of God. ~Thomas a Kempis~
