AWESOME PRAISE 02-27-21

1 Praise 051913

Good morning and rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. Just start praising him right now because that’s what we were made to do.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Father, remind us that man can never travel far enough in space to go beyond the boundaries of Your love. Even though we can’t see the wind, we can believe it’s there because of its effects. Just so, we can believe in You because we see Your love and concern in all that You have provided for us in Your creation. Help us reflect Your love so that others may desire to know You too, for we often feel inadequate. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Let’s eat.

AWESOME PRAISE

1 Chronicles 16:23-31

Let the whole earth sing to the LORD! Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does. Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods. The gods of other nations are mere idols, but the LORD made the heavens! Honor and majesty surround him; strength and joy fill his dwelling. O nations of the world, recognize the LORD, recognize that the LORD is glorious and strong. Give to the LORD the glory he deserves! Bring your offering and come into his presence. Worship the LORD in all his holy splendor. Let all the earth tremble before him. The world stands firm and cannot be shaken. Let the heavens be glad, and the earth rejoice! Tell all the nations, “The LORD reigns!”

QUOTE OF THE DAY

I have learned from Jesus Christ himself what charity is, and how we ought to practice it; for He says, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye love one another.” Never can I, therefore, please myself in the hope that I may obtain the name of a servant of Christ, if I possess not a true and unfeigned charity within me. -Basil
