Divine Life in Three Stages 05-30-17

(CLICK THE TITLE) Good morning everyone and praise the Lord for another day. It’s not about us; it’s about Jesus. Continue to let that hit your spirit and you will be on the right path.

Today’s Prayer

Father, when everything seems to be falling apart in our lives and we feel overwhelmed, remind us to stop everything, to sit quietly, to center in on You, and to read Your Word. For only as we return to oneness with You can our harmony be restored. Remind us that You are our Shepherd, and we shall not want for inner peace, for strength, for confidence, and for answers, for You have promised that Your Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth and show us where we need to change. Thank You for always being there for us when we turn to You. In the wonderful name of Jesus we pray, Amen and Amen.

Let’s eat.

Divine Life in Three Stages

Translated at Conversion

Colossians 1:11-14

We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom] and forgave our sins.

Transformed by Contemplation

2 Corinthians 3:18

So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.

Transfigured in Consummation

1 John 3:2

Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.

Quote of the Day

“If you plant a bean, then you will harvest only beans, not grapes or strawberries.” This is an old Korean proverb. God gave us new life through Jesus Christ and planted special seeds of forgiveness and love in our hearts. What fruit will we bear in our daily lives?
