Don’t Judge Others 06-04-21

Good day everyone. I’m probably not going to be very popular after I ask this series of questions. How’s you spiritual love life? Are you as spiritual as you think you are? Are you passing judgments on others before you get your own self correct? The fact of the matter is NONE of us is as spiritual as we think we are and we all at one time or another have passed judgment on others. But God sent Jesus to put us on the straight and narrow path. That is what we will feast on this morning, all be it short and sweet.

Today’s Prayer

Father, so much of our suffering is brought about by us being out of harmony with Your will, but there is a quantity of suffering which is necessary for our spiritual growth. Oh Lord, remind us that even then, You are in the midst of it, sufficient for our strength, and that the beauty of the morning can be appreciated because of the darkness of the night. Sorrow is ever making channels for joy! Let us learn to praise You always. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Do Not Judge Others

Matthew 7:1-6

Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye. “Don’t waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don’t throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you.
