Giving Thanks To God 04-01-20

Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. What a wonderful day and time to be a child of God. Please us the privilege as often as possible.

Today’s Prayer

Father, today, I’m thinking about all the people in my life. I pray for each and every one and their special needs. I want to stand in the gap and lift them up. Show me who needs Your special touch. Bring their needs to my attention. Work through me to minister to them.  Right now, I can think of those leaders making spiritual decisions in my immediate church family. Please intervene and touch our hearts and minds so that You May be glorified in the out come of the decisions. In Jesus’ name I pray and give thanks, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Give Thanks to the Lord

Psalm 92:1-8

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High. It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening, accompanied by the ten-stringed harp and the melody of the lyre. You thrill me, Lord, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done. O Lord, what great works you do! And how deep are your thoughts. Only a simpleton would not know, and only a fool would not understand this: Though the wicked sprout like weeds and evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever. But you, O Lord, will be exalted forever.

Quote of the Day

I have seen the marks of the cross upon Him, and by His grace the marks of the cross have been put upon me and I am no longer my own; I am bought with a price, redeemed by His precious blood. Yes, I have seen Him – not in the outward physical sense only, but in the inward sense of a deep spiritual reality. I have had a clear view of Jesus and my life will never be the same again.
