_ 032116 FOUND

Praise the Lord for another day and another chance to experience HIS mercy and loving kindness. The question now becomes; will you share it with others? I have one word that dropped into my spirit, “FOUND” and look at what the Lord did with it.

Today’s Prayer

Dear heavenly Father, prayer is necessary if we are to know You, if we are to grow in understanding. Prayer is repenting of our sins and seeking forgiveness. Prayer is praising You, not just petitioning You for favors. Prayer is seeking Your presence and Your guidance daily in our lives. Prayer is trusting that You know best. It is seeking to know Your will for our lives, and then being willing to be used by You. It is praying and interceding for those who are hurting or ill, or those who are confused and suffering from difficult situations. Prayer can make a difference Lord; teach us how to pray. In the wonderful name of Jesus we present all things, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Glad To Be Found

By Christ

Luke 15:1-6

One Sabbath day Jesus went to eat dinner in the home of a leader of the Pharisees, and the people were watching him closely. There was a man there whose arms and legs were swollen. Jesus asked the Pharisees and experts in religious law, “Is it permitted in the law to heal people on the Sabbath day, or not?” When they refused to answer, Jesus touched the sick man and healed him and sent him away. Then he turned to them and said, “Which of you doesn’t work on the Sabbath? If your son or your cow falls into a pit, don’t you rush to get him out?” Again they could not answer.

As a Wandering Sinner; In Christ

Philippians 3:7-11

I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith. I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!

As a Self Emptied Saint of Christ

2 Peter 3:11-14

Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live, looking forward to the day of God and hurrying it along. On that day, he will set the heavens on fire, and the elements will melt away in the flames. But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness. And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight.

Quote of the Day

God has called us to shine, just as much as Daniel was sent into Babylon to shine. Let no one say that he cannot shine because he has not so much influence as some others may have. What God wants you to do is to use the influence you have. Daniel probably did not have much influence down in Babylon at first, but God soon gave him more because he was faithful and used what he had. ~Dwight L. Moody~
