Whole armor of God

It’s March 06 and the 65th day of 2013. As I finished my blog for the morning and sat back for some quiet reflection, the following scripture dropped into my spirit on how we all should start every day:

Ephesians 6:13-17 King James Version

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

I don’t know if you realize that the “Armor of God” the bible speaks of is Jesus. As you begin each day, consciously say “Lord, I’m putting on the helmet of the hope of my salvation and the breastplate of righteousness” – all the way down to your feet and take up the sword of the Holy Spirit and the shield of faith.

Chew on that for awhile. Blessings on ya!
