GOD; ENOUGH SAID 01-06-16

1 102113 Spiritual comfort

(CLICK THE PICTURE) Lets jump start this Wednesday by giving thanks unto the Lord for He is good yes He is good. Everything that goes on around us is according to His master plan. Let the scripture of the day bless you.

Today’s Prayer

Father, as we begin to live out this New Year ahead, let us not forget to pray for our nation. More and more we see emphasis being placed on the secular, on the material, and we realize that we are being forced as a nation, and as individuals, to live beyond our means. Let us stop and ask ourselves, “In whom do we believe, and what do we believe?” Help us to ponder these words: “When a man ceases to believe in God, he does not believe in nothing, he believes in anything!” We pray that those in leadership positions will lead this country back to our Christian roots, for fear that they make a god of diversity, and we as a nation desert You, and You desert us! Remind us that freedom has its boundaries, and that these boundaries are determined by whatever we as a nation commit ourselves to! Oh Lord, let us pray each day that we and our leaders will commit ourselves to You. In the wonderful name of Jesus we pray and give thanks, Amen.

Let’s eat.

According To

According to His Mercy

Titus 3:1-5

Remind the believers to submit to the government and its officers. They should be obedient, always ready to do what is good. They must not slander anyone and must avoid quarreling. Instead, they should be gentle and show true humility to everyone. Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other. But—“When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.

Is our Salvation; According to His Riches

Philippians 4:19

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

Is our Supply; According to His Power

Colossians 1:11-14

We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.

Quote of the Day

The stars are God’s fingerprints. The sun is a mere smidgen of his radiance. The moon is to remind us that he doesn’t sleep at night. The vastness of space proclaims the infinity of his wisdom, while the sand pebble indicates his thoroughness with the puniest details. The lion hints at his fearlessness, the bear at his power, the hawk at his keen insight. And yet, those possess only a tidbit of God’s omnipotence and omnipresence. Every tree points toward heaven; every bird has a song to sing; even every moment of wind goes in some direction. There is nothing chaotic about our beautiful designed world. All creation has a message to tell. It says, “Listen, there is a God. There is a God!”
