GOD’S PLAN IS AWESOME 01-03-21

 _ 010314 Salvation of God

Greetings everyone and praise the Lord for another day and another chance to move forward with the things that glorify Him. This is a simple reminder message so that no one can say they didn’t know.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Father, we praise You today for answered prayer. You hear us when we speak to You; You know our hearts; and You know our needs. Thank You for answering in the right way, at the right time. Please forgive us for ever having doubts, and help us to always remember how You always have been there and of all You have done. You bless us so much. And it’s the little blessings, and the spiritual blessings, that mean the most. We can see You at work, every day–sometimes in unusual ways–when we take time to pay attention. You are truly worthy of praise and honor and worship. We love You. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Let’s eat.

– The Author of Salvation –

Hebrews. 5:9

In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him.

– The Lord Jesus, The Way of Salvation –

Acts 16:17

She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, and they have come to tell you how to be saved.”

– Through Faith, Knowledge of Salvation –

Luke 1:77

You will tell his people how to find salvation through forgiveness of their sins.

– By the Word, The Joy of Salvation –

Psalm 51:12

Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.

– In the Believer. The Day of Salvation –

2 Corinthians 6:2

For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.

Now

Salvation is of the Lord, for all, but only possessed by those who believe. The knowledge of it comes by believing the Word, and the joy of it follows. The latter may be lost; it will be if, through sin, the Spirit is grieved and communion is broken. By confession, both are restored.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

“We need deliberately to call to mind the joys of our journey. Perhaps we should try to write down the blessings of one day. We might begin; we could never end; there are not pens or paper enough in the entire world.” -George A. Buttrick
