(CLICK THE TITLE) Good morning and praise God for another day and another chance to move forward in the word. I was sitting here reflecting on the fact there is no such thing as luck in the life of a child of God. The fact on the matter is this; if you are saved by the blood of Jesus, there is no such thing as luck, only grace. Let that run around in your spirit.
Today’s Prayer
Father, the question is not how righteous and merciful You are, but rather how righteous and sincere we are. Repenting, both as a nation and as an individuals doesn’t mean just saying, “I’m sorry to have ignored Your Word.” It means turning around, looking at our wrong opinions and actions, and seeking to go Your way. Thank You, Lord, that You are indeed merciful and just, and that You don’t give us what we deserve, but rather what You know we need to bring us back to You. Help us to pray, “Thy will be done,” and to mean it. Help us first to truly commit ourselves to seeking to know Your will, and then give us the courage and strength to live by it daily. Let us be someone else’s gospel. It’s in the matchless name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Are you ashamed fo Jesus
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:16
Here’s a question for you; Are you willing to spend and be spent for the Jesus today, or are there just too many other things on your agenda? I have ask this question in similar messages before and on this Good Friday I’m compelled to ask again. Are you willing, no matter if it causes blood, sweat, and tears, to be used by the Lord, or are you more interested in where you are going to spend your next vacation and how you are going to get the money to pay for it?
So many of us are chicken or just don’t want to follow through when it comes to witnessing for Jesus Christ. We cluck and duck when the subject of God or religion is raised. We hope no one is looking when we ask God to bless our food in a public place. We need more of the spirit of the saints who are suffering for the sake of the Gospel this very minute in prisons, in torture, in abuse – all because they profess a love for Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of Man be ashamed, when He cometh in the glory of His Father with the holy angels” (Mark 8:38).
God is calling you to leave your comfortable Christianity behind and tell someone that Jesus loves them and wants to save them. Will you do it, or will you be too ashamed? Let this be the year you bring the light of Christ to your dorm, your neighborhood, your apartment building, your baseball team – wherever God has placed you. Let Him use you for His glory!
