Mary Visits Elizabeth 12-21-17

Good morning everyone. Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. I’m so filled with the Holy Spirit today that I can hardly be still. I just feel so extra blessed today because as I see myself in the mirror, the smile that is on my face was put there by the Father. As we move forward today, let Him lead you.

Today’s Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus, as we prepare for Christmas this year, help us to resolve to make it Your special day.  In the midst of all the seasonal bustle, the crowded highways and shopping malls, let us take time out to prepare our hearts, as we think of Your birth on that first Christmas in Bethlehem. Let us re-read the story of that incredible event when heaven and earth came together to share the glory and the wonder of Your birth on that holy night, and let us read it once again with our families. Help us to make You the center and the reason for our celebration this year. In your Holy name we pray, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Mary Visits Elizabeth

Luke 1:39-45

39 A few days later Mary hurried to the hill country of Judea, to the town

40 where Zechariah lived. She entered the house and greeted Elizabeth.

41 At the sound of Mary’s greeting, Elizabeth’s child leaped within her, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.

42 Elizabeth gave a glad cry and exclaimed to Mary, “God has blessed you above all women, and your child is blessed.

43 Why am I so honored, that the mother of my Lord should visit me?

44 When I heard your greeting, the baby in my womb jumped for joy.

45 You are blessed because you believed that the Lord would do what he said.”

Quote of the Day

In this season that we’re in, be warm and merciful and let no one go away from you empty-handed. The least you can offer is your time and patience, your affection and your prayer.
