PLAIN AND SIMPLE 01-31-17

(CLICK THE TITLE) Good morning everyone, praise God for another day and another chance to move forward with His work. As I sit here preparing this message I reflected back to a time when I wasn’t walking right with God, there was a lot pain in my life but as the song says: if any man be in Jesus, He’ll take the pain away. I got on my knees and asked Him to take me back and He took the pain away. Some of you may need to do that very thing this morning to start this New Year off right. Get yourself right before God this morning.

Today’s Prayer

Oh Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You this day of on behalf of my brothers and sisters in Christ to say Thank You for your promises! Thank you for opening your arms and welcoming us to come to you, to find rest in You, to find freedom in You, to have abundant life in You. I cry out to You now for those who are heavy on my heart, for those who are going through the fire and those who are going through the valleys; for those who face difficulties and those who have come through trials and are triumphant because of You. I pray for Your grace and mercy, Your peace and love, Your hand upon their lives. I pray for miracles and ministries. I pray that all who are weary will cry out to you and trust you. And I thank You so much for all that you have done and all that you will do. May your works and miracles in our lives be witness to the world that you are God. May you be glorified and souls be saved. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Plain and simple

Psalm 80:3

Turn us again to yourself, O God. Make your face shine down upon us. Only then will we be saved.

Quote of the Day

The object of a New Year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul and a new nose; new feet, a new backbone, new ears, and new eyes. Unless a particular man made New Year resolutions, he would make no resolutions. Unless a man starts afresh about things, he will certainly do nothing effective. Unless a man starts on the strange assumption that he has never existed before, it is quite certain that he will never exist afterwards. Unless a man be born again, he shall by no means enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
