A plea to the Lord 03-13-17

(CLICK THE TITLE) Good morning and praise the Lord for He is worthy! He woke us this morning and started us our way. Give Him praise right now!

Today’s Prayer

Father, I pray this prayer on behalf of my brothers and sisters in Christ. Just as flowers lie dormant awaiting the warmth of Your sun, help us realize that for too long some of our Lives have been dormant, awaiting our surrender to You. “I believe, please help those who still may have unbelief.” Take away the last shreds of doubt that keeps us from total commitment, that we too may experience springtime in our souls. Help us, Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Let’s eat.

A plea to the Lord

Psalm 139:1-8

O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there.

Quote of the Day

Furnish thyself with arguments from the promises to enforce thy prayers, and make them prevalent with God. The promises are the ground of faith, and faith, when strengthened, will make thee fervent, and such fervency ever speeds and returns with victory out of the field of prayer…The mightier any is in the Word, the more mighty he will be in prayer.
