REDEMPTION 11-10-16

_ 050416 REDEMPTION

(CLICK THE TITLE) Good morning everyone. What a beautiful fall day we have before us. Isn’t great to see the glory of God unfold in front of your eyes? Give Him some praise! The word of the day is ‘Redemption’. Let the following scriptures bless your soul.

Today’s Prayer

Father, “Children’s children are the crown of old men…” (Proverbs 17:6). Children’s children; grandchildren! Oh how grandchildren can be a joy when grandparents take the time to watch, listen, and participate in their lives, how these children love their grandparents, because so often grandparents have more “fun” time to spend with children than parents. I pray that every grandparent will take his or her role seriously, and understand how to pass on a heritage of the Lord, using wisdom as they go. May grandparents be godly, patient, kind, nurturing, and even firm when necessary, so that grandchildren will have a positive influence for the Lord and happy memories for the future. Thank You Lord, for the grandparents I had. And bless all the grandchildren. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Redemption in Various Aspects

Obtained for us

Hebrews 9:12

12 With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever.

At the Cross, Sent to us

Psalms 111:9

He has paid a full ransom for his people; now they are always free to come to Jehovah (what a holy, awe-inspiring name that is).

Through the Gospel, Known by us

Ephesians 1:7

So overflowing is his kindness toward us that he took away all our sins through the blood of his Son, by whom we are saved;

In the Present, Perfected in us

Romans 8:23

And even we Christians, although we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, also groan to be released from pain and suffering. We, too, wait anxiously for that day when God will give us our full rights as his children, including the new bodies he has promised us–bodies that will never be sick again and will never die.

Quote of the Day

You need to be in fellowship of a church…If you separate a live coal from the others, it will soon die out. However, if you put a live coal in with other live coals, it will be a glow that will last for hours.
