The Relation of the Trinity to Glory 04-11-17

(CLICK THE TITLE) Good morning and praise the Lord of heaven and earth. All of us have so many things to praise God for, don’t stop doing it. Let the scripture of the day bless you.

Today’s Prayer

Father, some days we look at our children and wonder how to cope. Then there are days when they are pure joy! Help us to remember this when they are ornery. Thank You that they love us even when we scream and shout. Help our children to know that we love them. Teach us all to forgive and to accept forgiveness and to be patient. It’s not easy, Lord, but You didn’t promise ease, You promised help. Thank You, we need it. In Jesus’ holy name we pray, Amen.

Let’s eat.

The Relation of the Trinity to Glory

The Father of Glory”

Ephesians 1:15-18

15 Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere, 16 I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, 17 asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. 18 I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance

In Origin “The Lord of Glory”

1 Corinthians 2:1-8

1 When I first came to you, dear brothers and sisters, I didn’t use lofty words and impressive wisdom to tell you God’s secret plan. 2 For I decided that while I was with you I would forget everything except Jesus Christ, the one who was crucified. 3 I came to you in weakness—timid and trembling. 4 And my message and my preaching were very plain. Rather than using clever and persuasive speeches, I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit. 5 I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God. 6 Yet when I am among mature believers, I do speak with words of wisdom, but not the kind of wisdom that belongs to this world or to the rulers of this world, who are soon forgotten. No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God—his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began. 8 But the rulers of this world have not understood it; if they had, they would not have crucified our glorious Lord.

 In Manifestation “Spirit of Glory”

1 Peter 4:12-14

12 Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. 13 Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world. 14 So be happy when you are insulted for being a Christian, for then the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you.

Quote of the Day

When the devil is called the god of this world, it is not because he made it, but because we serve him with our worldliness.
