SPIRITUAL WISDOM 06-23-16

_ 011014 Wisdom

(CLCIK THE TITLE) Good day and praise the Lord. We are going to continue to be fed by wisdom. As it has been put in my spirit very heavily these last few weeks, we need to press into the Lord in these times we are going through because if you give the enemy (and the inner me) a little crack to sneak in with negativity, it will try to take over. Keep God first.

Today’s Prayer

Dear Lord, here we are on this day, all starched and scrubbed, and ready to sing Your praises; but how about those days when we feel ourselves drowning in our unsolvable problems, what then? That’s the test of our faith, isn’t it; when the day is bathed in sunlight but our own world has a cloud? Help us to remember to turn our concerns over to You, and to praise You anyhow, for You can make our bleakest cloud bearable, and provide light for our paths. We know You can; We just forget sometimes. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Let’s eat.

Paul’s Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom

Ephesians 1:15-23 –

Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for Christians everywhere, I have never stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the wonderful future he has promised to those he called. I want you to realize what a rich and glorious inheritance he has given to his people. I pray that you will begin to understand the incredible greatness of his power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Now he is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else in this world or in the world to come. And God has put all things under the authority of Christ, and he gave him this authority for the benefit of the church. And the church is his body; it is filled by Christ, who fills everything everywhere with his presence.

Quote of the Day

The true, living faith, which the Holy Spirit instills into the heart, simply cannot be idle.

Pray for God’s peace. We shouldn’t act like the devil while we are going through one of his attacks. Don’t assist him. Resist him. Show him that you’re filled with the Holy Ghost. You don’t know what’s in a fruit until it’s squeezed.
