SUBMISSION 01-18-17

Praise God for another wonderful day of learning and growing in His word. The word “victory” was in the front of my thought process as I woke up today. The strange thing is that I was thinking about it in the wrong realm. The message today puts it in the proper perspective and is short but sweet. It’s an extension on the message I shared the other day. Let it bless you.

Today’s Prayer

Father, I come before You this morning on behalf of my brothers and sisters in Christ to ask that you would remind us that neither Satan nor You can work within us against our will. You gave us “free will” and the choices are ours, aren’t they? Oh Lord, let us choose You, Your way, EVERY TIME we make a choice. Help us, for we are often weak in this area. In the matchless name of Jesus I pray and give thanks, Amen.

Let’s eat.

What comes before victory in God?

“A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honor shall uphold the humble in spirit.” Proverbs 29:23

1 Samuel 15:22

But Samuel replied, “What is more pleasing to the Lord: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.

Habakkuk 3:10

The mountains watched and trembled. Onward swept the raging waters. The mighty deep cried out, lifting its hands in submission.

Quote of the Day

Only he who can say, ‘The Lord is the strength of my life’ can say, ‘Of whom shall I be afraid?’ ~Alexander MacLaren~
