The Promise Of Psalm 3 06-28-21

Good day everyone. This is the day that the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Though we may have afflictions that try to keep us from moving forward, we can get strength from the word and promises of the one and only God we serve. Praise Him right where you are this today!

Today’s Prayer

Father, when we find ourselves in serious opposition to another’s thinking, be it a spouse, a relative, companions at work or church, friends or others, help us to realize that You don’t want us to give up our convictions when they are in accordance with Your Word; rather You do expect us to show “Christian love” kindness, friendliness, and understanding. However, You expect us to make the first move toward reconciliation! You want us to do what we can to restore broken relationships! Help us to do this, Lord. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Psalm 3

O LORD, I have so many enemies; so many are against me. So many are saying, “God will never rescue him!” But you, O LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts my head high. I cried out to the LORD, and he answered me from his holy mountain. I lay down and slept. I woke up in safety, for the LORD was watching over me. I am not afraid of ten thousand enemies who surround me on every side. Arise, O LORD! Rescue me, my God! Slap all my enemies in the face! Shatter the teeth of the wicked! Victory comes from you, O LORD. May your blessings rest on your people.

Quote of the Day

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn’t supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it’s harder every time. You’ll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You’ll fight with your best friend. You’ll blame a new love for things an old one did. You’ll cry because time is passing too fast, and you’ll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you’ve never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you’ll never get back. Send this to all of your friends to let them know that you are thinking of them. Don’t be afraid that your life will end,  be afraid that it will never begin. ~anonymous~
