Threefold Deliverance 06-14-18

Good morning everyone. What a wonderful day we have before us. As I woke up I felt I needed deliverance from a few actions that have taken place in my life so I decided to blog about it. Now go out and give somebody a big hug in the name of JESUS today.

Today’s Prayer

Father GOD, we present to you our bodies as a living sacrifice unto You. Please help us to be holy and acceptable, which is our reasonable service (as Your Word exhorts in Romans 12:1). Guide and direct us, protect us from harm and evil, and shine through our lives to influence the world around us for You. May You be glorified and may the lost be pointed to JESUS through the testimony of our lives. Please keep us pure and forgive us, dear GOD, of our sins and failures so that we might start fresh, again today. In JESUS’ name we pray, amen.

Let’s eat.

Threefold Deliverance

  King James

2 Corinthians 1:10

Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

And he did help us, and saved us from a terrible death; yes, and we expect him to do it again and again.

Who hath delivered

King James

Psalms 66:12

Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

Living Bible

Psalms 66:12

You sent troops to ride across our broken bodies. We went through fire and flood. But in the end, you brought us into wealth and great abundance.

King James

1 Thessalonians 1:10

And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

Living Bible

1 Thessalonians 1:10

And they speak of how you are looking forward to the return of God’s Son from heaven–Jesus, whom God brought back to life–and he is our only Savior from God’s terrible anger against sin.

 Past, who doth deliver

King James

2 Peter 2:9

The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Living Bible

2 Peter 2:9

So also the Lord can rescue you and me from the temptations that surround us, and continue to punish the ungodly until the day of final judgment comes.

King James

2 Timothy 4:18

And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Living Bible

2 Timothy 4:18

Yes, and the Lord will always deliver me from all evil and will bring me into his heavenly Kingdom. To God be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

 Present Who shall yet deliver

King James

Romans 8:21

O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Living Bible

Romans 8:21

Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Quote of the Day

We want to avoid suffering, death, sin, ashes. But we live in a world crushed and broken and torn, a world God Himself visited to redeem. We receive his poured-out life, and being allowed the high privilege of suffering with Him, may then pour ourselves out for others.
