WHAT GOD IS 11-08-15

_ 122614 God is able

(CLICK THE PICTURE) Good morning everyone. Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good yes He is good and so very worthy of all our praise. I’m about to explode from all the love I have received from the Lord and the revelation I got from the Psalm I’m sharing with you today. Get ready, get ready and get ready.

Today’s Prayer

Father, Your Word says that, “With God all things are possible.”* I believe with all that I have that You showed that to all the world in a mighty way yesterday. So if we are on Your side, on Your wavelength, living within Your will, then we are on the same side. What more do we need? It’s up to us to live close to You daily so that we can recognize Your direction for us, isn’t it? For then and only then can we step out in faith, trusting that ” all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”** Thank You for Your love and Your word. Amen and Amen.

Let’s eat.

What God Is

Psalm 32 –

God our Justifier (v 1-6)

Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight! Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty! When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat. Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. Therefore, let all the godly pray to you while there is still time, that they may not drown in the floodwaters of judgment.

The Sinner’s Salvation God; our Hiding-place (v 7)

For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory.

The Saint’s Security, God our Guide (v. 8-11)

The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.” Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the Lord. So rejoice in the Lord and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure!

Quote of the Day

Jesus has also been accused of being ineffective, in a political sense, and of having done little to right social injustices. But it is clear from the Sermon on the Mount that he was deeply concerned that his disciples should be both the “salt” and the “light” of secular society; he endorsed the authority of those Old Testament prophets who vehemently rebuked social injustice; and he consistently identified himself with the poor and weak, with social outcasts and those who were regarded as morally disreputable…It is true that he did not lead a rebellion against Rome, seek to free slaves, or introduce a social revolution. He had come for a particular purpose, which was far more important than any of these things – and from that purpose nothing could or did deflect him.
