WHERE IS YOUR MANSION 06-20-18

Good day everyone. Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. What a wonderful day we have before us. We get another chance to bask in the glory of the God we serve. The word of the day is “mansion”. The challenge for today is to do a random act of kindness for someone you don’t know. Today’s message is short and such a great spiritual question so get ready.

Today’s Prayer

Dear heavenly Father, I come before you this morning on behalf of all of the people who have become victims natural disasters. Please send the provisions and the help they need from your angels who are the “real Christians” in these times of lost and despair. Most of all send the hedge of protection they need to keep their minds, bodies and souls strong and for the ones that don’t know you, send a strong witness to your glory to make the proper introduction. I present this and all things to you in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Where is your Mansion?

John 14:1-6

JESUS SAID:

Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.’ ‘No, we don’t know, Lord,’ Thomas said. ‘We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?’ Jesus told him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

Quote of the Day

Man’s good opinion of himself makes him think it quite possible to win God’s favor by his own religious performances; his bad opinion of God makes him unwilling and afraid to put his case wholly into His hands. The object of the Holy Spirit’s work (in convincing of sin) is to alter the man’s (sinner’s) opinion of himself and so to reduce his estimate of his own character that he should think of himself as God does, and so cease to suppose it possible that he can be justified by any Excellency of his own. The Spirit then alters his evil opinion of God, so as to make him see that the God with whom he has to do is really the God of all grace.
