WHICH WAY 10-03-21

_ 100314 God's way

Good day to ya everyone and praise the Lord for another day to move forward in the word. I have been thinking about how some of us go through this life our way instead of consulting God first and as soon as we get in trouble, we want Him to come and rescue us. Get a grip on it folks. If we go to Him first, the need for rescue diminishes.

Today’s Prayer

Dear heavenly father, I come to you today standing in the gap for people everywhere and praying this short and sweet prayer. Let us serve others because we love You. Help us not to wait until we feel a kinship for another person before we offer kindness, aid or concern. If we truly love You, We will want to serve others on Your behalf. Help us reflect Your love, so that others will desire to know You too. In the wonderful name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Man’s Way and Christ

Jude 11

What sorrow awaits them! For they follow in the footsteps of Cain, who killed his brother. Like Balaam, they deceive people for money. And like Korah, they perish in their rebellion.

John 14:1-6

“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know the way to where I am going.” “No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said. “We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?” Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

Way of Cain – in Contrast to Jesus saying “I am the Way”.

Error of Balaam – in Contrast to Jesus saying “And the Truth”

Perishing of Korah – in Contrast to Jesus saying “And the Life”

Quote of the Day

Never cease loving a person, and never give up hope for him, for even the prodigal son who had fallen most low, could still be saved; the bitterest enemy and also he who was your friend could again be your friend; love that has grown cold can kindle again. ~Soren Kierkegaard~
