DIFFICULTIES SOLVED 10-11-22

_-101116-solved

In my work as a minister of the Word, I have talked with people that have had a lot of difficulties and excuses for not knowing the truth about Jesus. The Scriptures given in this message solve the difficulties.

Today’s Prayer

(This prayer is focused on the USA. Adapt It for whatever country you are in because as Christians we are repenting for our failures)

Father, I come to you today with a prayer I have prayed a number of times before and it needs to be repeated for those that are praying it with me right now; what, if anything, do we as a nation hold sacred today? Not You, Lord God, and not our flag! For as a nation, we often turn to You only in times of crisis. We hear Your name taken in vain in everyday life, and in movies and on TV. We no longer honor our flag and observe the rules for its display and use as we once did. People today make the flag into bikinis and other wearing apparel, and we allow it to be burned as a sign of protest. Yet in our Pledge of Allegiance, we still say that we are “one nation under God.” We have tried to destroy any reference to You in our schools, and have taken the Bible out of many of our school libraries, denying our young people the freedom to learn its contents. Our Senate still opens its sessions with a prayer by its Chaplain, and yet our teenagers must go outside their schools to pray out loud! No one should be forced to pray, but to be denied the right to pray openly shows that we have forsaken You and our Christian heritage. Unless we, who call ourselves Your people, unite and stand together to bring us back to sanity, then as a nation that holds nothing sacred, we are in danger of facing the penalty of Your judgment. Help us, Lord God, to see this before it is too late! In the wonderful name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Difficulties Solved

Solomon answered all her questions

1 Kings 10:1-3

When the queen of Sheba heard of Solomon’s fame, which brought honor to the name of the Lord, she came to test him with hard questions. She arrived in Jerusalem with a large group of attendants and a great caravan of camels loaded with spices, large quantities of gold, and precious jewels. When she met with Solomon, she talked with him about everything she had on her mind. Solomon had answers for all her questions; nothing was too hard for the king to explain to her.

How can I be sure Christ died for me?

Romans 5:1-6

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory. We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.

Must I not seek it?

Luke 19:9-10

Jesus responded, “Salvation has come to this home today, for this man has shown himself to be a true son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.”

I have tried to believe, but can’t

Romans 10:9

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

If I could only feel it

Romans 15:13

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

I fear I couldn’t hold on

John 10:28-29

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand.

Quote of the Day

The happiest people I know are the ones who have learned how to hold everything loosely and have given the worrisome, stress-filled, fearful details of their lives into God’s keeping. ~Charles (Chuck) Swindoll~
