Good morning everyone. Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good yes He is good. I feel so good in my soul today because I was given another chance to move forward with the acquiring of spiritual wisdom. I just performed a funeral service yesterday and it was very humbling. There were many there that had no relationship with Christ and when they were given the chance through the offer of salvation and to get a relationship they responded in an awesome surrender. Ain’t God good? Please join me in today’s feast.
TODAY’S PRAYER
Father, if one doesn’t have a view of eternity, if there is no recognition, reverence or respect for You, if nothing is sacred, then there is nothing before, and no future to come — only life in the “now,” no value to life, no dreams. … Yet Your Word clearly tells us that by the power of God we have been saved, and that You have “called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity.” Help us to see that we are special in Your sight, someone You need to fulfill a specific task. You have not “called” us to be lukewarm Christians. You want us to be wholly committed, the best that we can be, with the Holy Spirit’s guidance. In short, You want us to live in the center of Your will. Help us to want that too. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

A Healthy Fear of God Brings Wisdom
Proverbs 1:7-16
Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. My child, listen when your father corrects you. Don’t neglect your mother’s instruction. What you learn from them will crown you with grace and be a chain of honor around your neck. My child, if sinners entice you, turn your back on them! They may say, “Come and join us. Let’s hide and kill someone! Just for fun, let’s ambush the innocent! Let’s swallow them alive, like the grave; let’s swallow them whole, like those who go down to the pit of death. Think of the great things we’ll get! We’ll fill our houses with all the stuff we take. Come, throw in your lot with us; we’ll all share the loot.” My child, don’t go along with them! Stay far away from their paths. They rush to commit evil deeds. They hurry to commit murder. If a bird sees a trap being set, it knows to stay away. But these people set an ambush for themselves; they are trying to get themselves killed. Such is the fate of all who are greedy for money; it robs them of life.
