Good morning everyone. Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good yes He is good and worthy of all our praise. Today I’m going to share how God uses other to speak into our lives as His messengers so get your bib on and utensils ready.

Today’s Prayer

Father, I come to you today on behalf of my brothers and sisters in Christ to say the following, I know that You have a plan for our lives. There are times when some of us are not sure we are following the right path that will fulfill Your perfect will. I pray that You will give us all the discernment to make the right choices, and to recognize when You place someone in our lives to give direction and point out truths that will prepare us for the path we are to follow and the circumstances we are to face. Lord, please give us strength, grace, and unction from on high to not turn back neither to one side or the other, but to remained focused straight ahead on You. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Lets eat.

God’s Messengers

Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets. ~ Amos 3:7

We as Christians have a job to do. We are to be God’s messengers. “We are called to free Luke warm believers from the Esau life.” Those were the words spoken to me a few years ago by a respected pastor and prophet God sent into my life. I just said thank you for the encouragement, but in my mind I was confused because I had no idea what he was talking about. I had been in the middle of trying to understand some crazy events that shook my world. Years later, I was able to see that God gave this person supernatural insight that revealed God’s calling on my life.

God still uses His prophets in this day and age to reveal His plans in the lives of His people. I have seen this Scripture proven over and over in the lives of people. It is as though God sends out His “scouts” to inform His servants what is ahead for them. Sometimes He does this because He knows the event will require serious changes in that person’s life and so He wants to assure them of His love. I have experienced the Lord using me in this way in the lives of other individuals. God did this in the life of Moses. He came to Moses at the burning bush to reveal His purposes for the people of Israel and His call on Moses to free them.

Has God placed individuals in your life to speak His plans for you?

Are your eyes and ears spiritually sensitive so that you will know who the messengers of God are?

Elisha had a servant who could not see or hear with spiritual eyes and ears until Elisha prayed they would be opened. Then the servant could see the great army of God protecting them (see 2 Kings 6:17). Pray that you might see and hear with the Spirit. He may desire to reveal His purposes and plans through another individual.

Quote of the Day

Some people are so cynical about free gifts that they refuse to visit stores that offer such extras. Many in our world reject the free gift from God and they refuse the good things He has to offer. God will provide for your every need, and as you grow in faith and trust, He will fill your heart with the desire for the good things in life. Jesus Christ is the bread of life. He is the Word made flesh. He was sent from heaven to live, die and rise again to new life so we can freely live in the love and glory of the Most High God. It costs us nothing. Eat and drink the gift of eternal life. Partake in the bread and living water that is Christ Jesus, and be satisfied. Thanks be to God.
