(CLICK THE PICTURE) Good morning everyone. Praise the Lord for another day and another chance to spread the gospel of our Lord and savior. The word “fisherman” dropped into my spirit so the scripture today is going to teach us about fishing. Let it bless you.

Today’s Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, some can pray short prayers and see results. Remind us that they may have spent hours in Your Word and in quiet meditation, awaiting Your guidance. They are “prayed up.” When a crisis comes they KNOW how to pray in Your will because they KNOW You. Oh Lord, help those that don’t know you in that way to see that they need to spend time in Your Word daily. Help them, for fear that they give You cause to say, “I never knew you.”

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Matthew 13:47-52

47 “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a fishing net that was thrown into the water and caught fish of every kind. 48 When the net was full, they dragged it up onto the shore, sat down, and sorted the good fish into crates, but threw the bad ones away. 49 That is the way it will be at the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked people from the righteous, 50 throwing the wicked into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 51 Do you understand all these things?”

   “Yes,” they said, “we do.”

52 Then he added, “Every teacher of religious law who becomes a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a homeowner who brings from his storeroom new gems of truth as well as old.”

Quote of the Day

Teach us, O Lord, the disciplines of patience, for to wait is often harder than to work.
