Today’s Prayer
Dear Father in heaven, I pray today for my brothers and sisters in Christ and their friends and loved ones who are going through the very difficult battle with cancer, a horrible disease. Lord, I speak healing over these precious people and claim Your promises to hear our prayers. Lord, if we believe and have faith as a little tiny grain of mustard seed, that faith is great enough to move mountains and to heal the sick. Lord, I pray that these people will have faith, trust You, and bring their burdens and hearts desires before You. Reach out and touch their sick bodies. Give strength to them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I pray that You will take away the pain and fear of this disease. I pray that the body of Christ will support and help meet their needs during this season. I pray that these dear ones’ experiences and expressions of faith will be a living testimony of Your grace and power. I pray that You will heal and that the world may know that You are God. I pray for wisdom and guidance for these suffering saints and their families, and for peace in their lives–peace that only You can give. I know that going to heaven takes away all pain and suffering, bringing complete healing. But Lord, what a testimony to the world if You will heal these people on earth. Bless them I ask, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Living by the Spirit’s Power
Ephesians 5:15-20
So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do. Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Quote of the Day
The voice of the Father will be heard as He sets before us a widely opened door and receives us into blessed fellowship with Him. When we pray for the Spirit’s help, it will no longer be in the fear that prayer is too great an effort for us. Instead, we will simply fall down at the Lord’s feet in our weakness. There we will find the victory and power that comes from His love.
