(CLICK THE PICTURE) Good morning everyone. Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. I thank God for all of you and praise Him that He has given us another day and another chance to move forward with this practice session for heaven. Today we will see what scripture says about life.

Today’s Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus, the more time we spend with the Holy Spirit’s leading in reading Your words, the more we learn! Remind us of these insights we have gleaned — a Christian is a person who is dedicated to Your service, a special person in Your sight, whose calling is to leave this world a better place because of what You have led him or her to do. A Christian knows his or her heavenly Father, and he or she has forged a relationship with Him. A Christian knows who God the Father is, and he or she seeks to “enjoy Him forever!” He or she knows that the safest place to be is in the center of the Father’s will. … He or she seeks to discover the Father’s will and, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to be obedient to it. Help us as we try to live out these things that we are beginning to understand, for we are weak at times. Give us the strength to keep doing, that we may give You glory in all of our actions. In Your holy name we pray. Amen.

Let’s eat.

The Believer’s Relation to Life

He has received the Gift of Life

Romans 6:20-23 –

When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the obligation to do right. And what was the result? You are now ashamed of the things you used to do, things that end in eternal doom. But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

He has drunk the Water of Life

Revelation 22:17 –

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life.

He eats the Bread of Life

John 6:35 –

Jesus replied, “I am the Bread of Life. No one coming to me will ever be hungry again. Those believing in me will never thirst.

His name is in the Book of Life

Philippians 4:3 –

And I ask you, my true teammate, to help these women, for they worked side by side with me in telling the Good News to others; and they worked with Clement, too, and the rest of my fellow workers whose names are written in the Book of Life.

He walks in the Light of Life

John 8:12 –

Later, in one of his talks, Jesus said to the people, “I am the Light of the world. So if you follow me, you won’t be stumbling through the darkness, for living light will flood your path.”

He is to others the Savior of Life

2 Corinthians 2:16 –

To those who are not being saved, we seem a fearful smell of death and doom, while to those who know Christ we are a life-giving perfume. But who is adequate for such a task as this?

He expects to wear the Crown of Life

James 1:12 –

Happy is the man who doesn’t give in and do wrong when he is tempted, for afterwards he will get as his reward the crown of life that God has promised those who love him.

Quote of the Day

With a weak faith and a fearful heart, many a sinner stands before the Lord. It is not the strength of our faith, but the perfection of Christ’s sacrifice that saves! No feebleness of faith, nor dimness of eye, no trembling of hand can change the efficacy of Christ’s blood. The strength of our faith can add nothing to it, nor can the weakness of our faith take anything from Him. Faith (weak or strong) still reads the promise, “the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” If at times my eye is so dim that I cannot read these words, through blinding tears or bewildering trials, faith rests itself on the certain knowledge of the fact that THE PROMISE IS THERE, and the blood of Christ remains in all its power and suitableness upon the altar, unchanged and unaffected.
