Good morning everyone. This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. I love it when God drops something in my spirit and I run right to the scriptures to get the understanding. It always comes from a section of scripture that I least expect. Today it comes from a portion of Psalm 119. We are now going to pray.
Today’s Prayer
Father, when we get out of harmony with You, we are out of harmony with ourselves! If we let this continue, it is likely to be reflected in our physical being. If we truly want to be whole, then let us seek to restore this inner harmony between us. Fill us with Your presence, and let the Holy Spirit guard us from yielding to any temptations to stray. Help us Lord, to want to be what You know we can be. With Your help, we can be those people! In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Talk to God from Your Heart
Psalm 119:49-56
Remember your promise to me; it is my only hope. Your promise revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles. The proud hold me in utter contempt, but I do not turn away from your instructions. I meditate on your age-old regulations; O Lord, they comfort me. I become furious with the wicked, because they reject your instructions. Your decrees have been the theme of my songs wherever I have lived. I reflect at night on who you are, O Lord; therefore, I obey your instructions. This is how I spend my life: obeying your commandments.

When we stray from His presence, He longs for you to come back. He weeps that you are missing out on His love, protection and provision. He throws His arms open, runs toward you, gathers you up, and welcomes you home.
