A PSALM OF PRAISE 07-21-22

This is an unusual time for me to be blogging(4:15 AM CST) but I have been dealing with fixing my server for the last few hours..  As I awoke today, my spirit was led to a Psalm of praise. The one I share with you is a cry from my spirit to the Lord.

Today’s Prayer

Father, our personalities have been molded by the traits You placed within us, our families and our experiences. We pray that the good strengths and character of our personalities will be dominant, and our weaknesses and faults will fade away. We want to start every day with a smile, a positive outlook, and grateful for our Savior and all the blessings You have bestowed upon us. We want to be cheerful and encouraging to everyone we come in contact with. We want to be vessels that You use to reach out to others and point them to You. Please help us be people of great integrity and joy, who reach up to the potential You have for us. May our lives glorify You and bring happiness to our loved ones. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Let’s eat.

Psalm 8

1 O LORD, our Lord, the majesty of your name fills the earth! Your glory is higher than the heavens.

2 You have taught children and nursing infants to give you praise. They silence your enemies who were seeking revenge.

3 When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers–the moon and the stars you have set in place–

4 what are mortals that you should think of us, mere humans that you should care for us?

5 For you made us only a little lower than God, and you crowned us with glory and honor.

6 You put us in charge of everything you made, giving us authority over all things–

7 the sheep and the cattle and all the wild animals,

8 the birds in the sky, the fish in the sea, and everything that swims the ocean currents.

9 O LORD, our Lord, the majesty of your name fills the earth!
