Blessed Is the Man 04-20-17

(CLICK THE TITLE) Good morning everyone and rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. As I opened my eyes this morning I realized that even with the aches and pains that I have, I am one of the most blessed people on the face of the earth. I have another chance to tell people about the saving graces of Jesus. Now think about how blessed you are and give Him some Praise.

Today’s Prayer

Dear Lord Jesus, You have said: “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.” Help us realize the significance of Your message; all that You really want from us is the joy that You experienced on earth, as You lived out the Father’s will; You want us to find that same joy. In short, You want what is best for us, and what will bring us to enjoy eternal life with You! We may take wrong turns, or we may have to mark time. You may let us suffer illness, hardships or ridicule. However, You never give up in trying to help us discover that our real fulfillment will only be found in You! The choice is ours, isn’t it? Help us to truly want all that You desire so uniquely for us! In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Let’s eat.

Blessed Is the Man

Whose transgression is forgiven

Psalm 32:1

Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight!

Whose strength is in God

Psalm 84:5

What joy for those whose strength comes from the Lord, who have set their minds on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem.

Who makes the Lord his trust

Psalm 40:4

Oh, the joys of those who trust the Lord, who have no confidence in the proud or in those who worship idols.

That hears God

Proverbs 8:34

Joyful are those who listen to me, watching for me daily at my gates, waiting for me outside my home!

That walks not in counsel of ungodly

Psalm 1:1

Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.

Quote of the Day

Grace is not a license to sin, but to walk in humility in the sight of God. Grace frees us to be active in the works of God. We are not tied up with how much we have done, or not done, but we learn by the grace of God to rest in His love.
