Good day everyone. Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good yes He is good and worthy of our praise. Today we will feast on scripture that tells us a little about what God is. Let it bless you.

Today’s Prayer

Father, we have prayed that You would raise up righteous leaders for our country; men and women of integrity and moral example who will lead this nation to fulfill Your vision and our dreams. Give us the wisdom to recognize them, for we have often been deceived. Remind us that integrity and morality are not just words to be said and used in emptiness, but words to be reflected in one’s everyday conduct. These are essential in building character. Let us demand these qualities for these leaders and for us, for no nation, no society, and no family can long survive without standards that require honesty and responsibility in all of our actions, dealings, and relationships.Only then will we and our leaders set honorable examples for our youth to follow. Only then can we rightfully sing: “GOD BLESS AMERICA.” Help us to become the nation that You want us to be. Let us reclaim Your vision for our country; with Your help we can! In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

God Is

The God of Salvation

Habakkuk 3:17-18

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!

The God of Peace

Philippians 4:8-9

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

The God of Patience

Romans 15:5-6

May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus.Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The God of Hope

Rom. 15:13

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The God of Glory

Acts 7:1-4

Then the high priest asked Stephen, “Are these accusations true?”This was Stephen’s reply: “Brothers and fathers, listen to me. Our glorious God appeared to our ancestor Abraham in Mesopotamia before he settled in Haran.God told him, ‘Leave your native land and your relatives, and come into the land that I will show you.’ So Abraham left the land of the Chaldeans and lived in Haran until his father died. Then God brought him here to the land where you now live.

This is the order that people know God and learn about Him.

Quote of the Day
