(CLICK THE TITLE) Good morning and rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice. Just start praising him right now. It was pointed out to me a couple days ago that we sometimes use phrases in our spiritual lives that aren’t back up by scripture. Today we are going to visit some things we do that we were taught but don’t line up with scripture so get ready.
Today’s Prayer
Father, remind us that man can never travel far enough in space to go beyond the boundaries of Your love. Even though we can’t see the wind, we can believe it’s there because of its effects. Just so, we can believe in You because we see Your love and concern in all that You have provided for us in Your creation. Help us reflect Your love so that others may desire to know You too, for we often feel inadequate. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

HE’S ALREADY HERE
What I’m about to share is going to sting like putting alcohol on an open wound. First of all, we have to stop telling people that we are going to church because we are supposed to be the church not just go to a building.
Ephesians 4:11-12 “11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.”
We also have to think about how we say that we are ushering in the presence of God. If you have accepted Jesus as your lord and savior, at that moment you received the indwelling of the Holy Ghost. That means that the spirit of the living God is in you.
Ephesians 1:13 “ And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago.”
So as the title of the message suggests, GOD IS ALREADY HERE WITH US. We have to stop living and praying like God is in some far off place. We have to know that as blood washed children, we are made in his image and we should carry ourselves that way!
Genesis 1:26-28 “26 Then God said, “Let us make human beings[a] in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth,[b] and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” 7 So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28 Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”
