IS JESUS THE LORD OF YOUR LIFE? 03-09-19

Good day everyone. Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good yes He is good and worthy of our praise. The lord put today’s message heavily in my spirit. We have a number of people who claim to know Jesus that have not accepted him as Lord of their life. That is a dangerous place to be proven by the scriptures of the day.

Today’s Prayer

Father, we pray for strength, and You give us difficulties that require strength. We pray for courage, and You give us dangers to overcome. We ask for favors, and You give us opportunities. We pray for patience, and You lead us into a traffic tie-up, but You never forsake us. Your love surrounds us, and You give us both encouragement and hope. Help us remember times in the past when You have stood by us, comforted us, strengthened us, healed us, and blessed us. Thank You and help us be a blessing to others, that they may want to know You. We will be careful to give You all honor and glory in Jesus’ wonderful name, Amen and Amen.

Let’s eat.

Unconverted Professors Are

Wells without Water

2 Peter 2:17

These people are as useless as dried-up springs or as mist blown away by the wind. They are doomed to blackest darkness.

Empty and Dry Trees without Fruit

Jude 12

When these people eat with you in your fellowship meals commemorating the Lord’s love, they are like dangerous reefs that can shipwreck you. They are like shameless shepherds who care only for themselves. They are like clouds blowing over the land without giving any rain. They are like trees in autumn that are doubly dead, for they bear no fruit and have been pulled up by the roots.

Lifeless and Fruitless Lamps without Oil

Matthew 25:1-13

Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. The five who were foolish didn’t take enough olive oil for their lamps, but the other five were wise enough to take along extra oil. When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep. “At midnight they were roused by the shout, ‘Look, the bridegroom is coming! Come out and meet him!’ “All the bridesmaids got up and prepared their lamps. Then the five foolish ones asked the others, ‘Please give us some of your oil because our lamps are going out.’ “But the others replied, ‘We don’t have enough for all of us. Go to a shop and buy some for yourselves.’ “But while they were gone to buy oil, the bridegroom came. Then those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was locked. Later, when the other five bridesmaids returned, they stood outside, calling, ‘Lord! Lord! Open the door for us!’ “But he called back, ‘Believe me, I don’t know you!’ “So you, too, must keep watch! For you do not know the day or hour of my return.

Graceless and Powerless

Quote of the Day

I believe God, through His Spirit, grants us love, joy, and peace no matter what is happening in our lives. As Christians, we shouldn’t expect our joy to always feel like happiness, but instead recognize joy as inner security — a safeness in our life with Christ.
