JUST PRAISE HIM 05-30-20

Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good yes He is good. He is so very worthy of our praise. YOU BETTER GIVE HIM SOME PRAISE RIGHT NOW!

Today’s Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father , I come before you on behalf of my brothers and sisters in Christ to say, when everything seems to be flying apart in our lives and we feel overwhelmed, remind us to stop everything, to sit quietly, to center in on You, and to read Your Word. For only as we return to oneness with You can our harmony be restored. Remind us that the Lord is our Shepherd, and we shall not want for inner peace, for strength, for confidence, and for answers, for You have promised that Your Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth and show us where we need to change. Thank You, Lord, for always being there for us when we turn to You. In the matchless name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Let’s eat.

A psalm of praise of David

Psalm 147:1-7

I will exalt you, my God and King, and praise your name forever and ever. I will praise you every day; yes, I will praise you forever. Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness. Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles. Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; I will proclaim your greatness. Everyone will share the story of your wonderful goodness; they will sing with joy about your righteousness.

Quote of the Day

Why do we swim away from Him in our times of need? I believe it is because of the fact that we may not think He will forgive us. Maybe you believe that you have done to much. Maybe ran your bill up more than you can pay. But I’m here to tell you that no matter how far you have gone out to sea the Lord will not leave you. No matter how much you hurt the Him, He still loves you. If you are thinking right now that you can’t go to the Lord with something, think again. He went to the cross for us so He could be there when we need Him the most. Go to Him with what you need. Jesus is the life guard that will brave the currents and will go after you no matter how deep or how cold the water is.
