Good morning and thank the lord for another day. We have so much to be thankful for, so just take some time out right now and give God some praise… Today we are going to dine on Christian service.
Today’s Prayer
“Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8).
Father, We are so aware of how satan picks at us and tries to trip us all the time. We know there are spiritual dangers around us. Please help us to remain alert and to be under the Holy Spirit’s control at all times. We want to draw near to You, so the devil will flee. Please protect us and our families from harm and evil. Thank You for Your love, concern, and protection. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

1 Thessalonians 1:4-9
4 We know, dear brothers and sisters, that God loves you and has chosen you to be his own people. 5 For when we brought you the Good News, it was not only with words but also with power, for the Holy Spirit gave you full assurance that what we said was true. And you know of our concern for you from the way we lived when we were with you. 6 So you received the message with joy from the Holy Spirit in spite of the severe suffering it brought you. In this way, you imitated both us and the Lord. 7 As a result, you have become an example to all the believers in Greece—throughout both Macedonia and Achaia. 8 And now the word of the Lord is ringing out from you to people everywhere, even beyond Macedonia and Achaia, for wherever we go we find people telling us about your faith in God. We don’t need to tell them about it, 9 for they keep talking about the wonderful welcome you gave us and how you turned away from idols to serve the living and true God.

12 Are we commending ourselves to you again? No, we are giving you a reason to be proud of us, so you can answer those who brag about having a spectacular ministry rather than having a sincere heart. 13 If it seems we are crazy, it is to bring glory to God. And if we are in our right minds, it is for your benefit.
