I thank God for another day and another chance to move forward with the work at hand; leading those that God has assigned to us to the salvation of Jesus. This message is about a promise we shall truly live by.
Today’s Prayer
Dear Lord, help us leave space in our days for quiet growth, for new ideas, for dreams and insights, for new perspectives and directions, for listening for Your quiet voice, and sensing Your will for us. Let us not limit our quiet time with You, for fear that we will miss out on what Your Holy Spirit has uniquely for us! Let us not be afraid if we feel at a standstill; let us learn to wait until the breath of the Holy Spirit fills our sails and we set forth on a course, secure in the knowledge that it is the one You have chosen for us. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

LIFE AFTER DEATH
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21
THINK ABOUT THIS:
The only thing we know about life after death is what the Bible reveals and what Jesus says. Now one thing that we know is that death is not extinction. Death is not annihilation. There is life after death. “How do you know, Glenn?” Because Jesus teaches it. Your soul will be in existence somewhere when the sun, the moon, and the stars have turned to cinders. Somebody said there is a tombstone and engraved on that tombstone are these words, “Pause, stranger, as you pass me by. As you are now, so once was I. As I am now, so you will be. Prepare to die and follow me.” And someone wrote on that tombstone underneath it, “To follow you, I am not content until I know which way you went.” Don’t let life pass you by before you consider these things—how your life today will affect the life to come.
