NO ROOM IN THE INN 12-24-18

Good morning everyone. Oh give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, yes He is good. Give Him some praise. We attended a service yesterday that was pointed at Jesus as our rescuer and the message hit home. I have something in my spirit that I would like to share a little of. I have probably shared this a few times over the years, so hold on and be blessed.

Today’s Prayer

Hallelujah! I come before you this morning as humbly as I can on behalf of my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that today, Your heart will be happy and rejoice over the souls who have accepted Your gift of forgiveness and life eternal. Thank You for interceding for us, for making us righteous through the blood, for sending your Son to “stand in the gap” and be there for us. Glory to You for the Lamb of God; the Word that was and is and is to come. I praise You today and remember what You have done. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. I pray that we will be a blessing to You. Please guide and direct our every step, that we will always be about Your business and be pleasing in Your sight. In the precious name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Business as Usual

And she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped Him in cloths and placed Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. – Luke 2:7

Imagine if the God of the universe decided to visit planet earth as a new baby and you were given the opportunity to host His first night-in your hotel! Think of the future promotional possibilities…”God stayed here His first night!” You could sell tickets to see the room where He was born. What an opportunity to make history as a small-business owner!

God had need of a business owner’s establishment one night over 2,000 years ago. But there was no room for God in this business that night. There was no room for the unexpected miracle; no awareness of what was taking place in the spiritual realm, no sign that God might be reaching out to this business owning believer to be used like no other in all of history.

Every day God has need of some man or woman’s job. He wants to demonstrate miracles in their work. But there is no room in their work for Jesus. He is not asked to participate.

That night God slept in a stable. That night a business opportunity from Heaven was missed. It was business as usual.

May we all have spiritual eyes and ears to know when our Father needs what He has entrusted to us for His purposes. Will you answer and let Him in or will it be business as usual at your Inn?

Quote of the Day

I wanted to have a great stock, so that I could feel rich; a great store laid up for many years, so that I would not be dependent upon Him the next day; but He never gave me such a store. I never had more holiness or healing at one time than I needed for that hour.
