(CLICK THE TITLE) Good morning and praise the Lord for another wonderful day on the path to Him. You need to give Him some praise right now. The word “STEADFAST” dropped into my spirit so that’s where we will feed from in the Word of God.
Today’s Prayer
Father, Thank you for this day and for the instruction you provide through your Word. Please help us to always have a soft answer to turn away wrath, not harsh words that stir up anger; help us to use knowledge rightly, not to speak foolishness. We pray that our tongues would build up others as a tree of life giving shade and shelter and never speak perverseness that would break the spirit. Let us always receive your instruction and correction with an ear to hear, a mind to accept, and a heart that is humble. We thank you and offer this prayer in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Let’s eat.
Christian Steadfastness
Steadfast in the Truth
Acts 2:1-4
On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.
Steadfast in the Faith
Colossians 2:1-3
I want you to know how much I have agonized for you and for the church at Laodicea, and for many other believers who have never met me personally. I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. In him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Steadfast in Life and Work
1 Corinthians 15:58
So, my dear brothers, since future victory is sure, be strong and steady, always abounding in the Lord’s work, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever wasted as it would be if there were no resurrection.
Quote of the Day
Do not yield to the temptation of looking at everything at once, as if everything would happen at once, and all the events of the day be crowded into an hour. Do not thus forecast, but take each thing as it comes to you, and look upon it as the present expression of the will of God concerning you; then regard the next in the same way, and thus receive your day piece by piece from Him who will remember always when He gives you work to do, that you need strength to do it. Often, when you have almost fainted in spirit, the thought comes, “If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, what shalt thou do with the horsemen?” Put it from you, it is a faithless thought; if you need more strength, you will have it, be sure of that; or the call to greater exertion may never come to you. Your business is with the present; leave the future in His hands who will be sure to do the best, the very best for you.
