_ 030214 Remain Faithful

Good day everyone. Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good yes He is good. I was just lying in bed upon waking up and the word “division” dropped into my spirit. It made me start reflecting on those around me that do there best to distract me from the true mission. They try to put things before me which could put doubt in my mind. But God has another plan. I thank you Father for the focus that you give me daily.

TODAY’S PRAYER

Father, in the midst of worldwide confusion, a global pandemic, “wars and rumors of wars,” moral decay, and political quandary, and when our personal world crashes in around us, remind us that You are God and that You are still in control. Help us as a nation to not give way to despondency, but to keep our eyes focused on You, and to recall past times when You have sustained us. Help our leaders to prayerfully seek Your will and Your direction before they make world-shaking decisions. Bring revival to this nation and to Christians around the world, and let it begin with us! In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Let’s eat.

A CALL TO REMAIN FAITHFUL

Jude 1:17-23

But you, my dear friends, must remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ said. They told you that in the last times there would be scoffers whose purpose in life is to satisfy their ungodly desires. These people are the ones who are creating divisions among you. They follow their natural instincts because they do not have God’s Spirit in them. But you, dear friends, must build each other up in your most holy faith, pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love. And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

To give heart and mind to God, so that they are ours no longer–to do Good without being conscious of it, to pray ceaselessly and without Effort as we breathe–to love without stopping to reflect upon our Feelings–such is the perfect forgetfulness of self, which casts us upon God, as a babe rests upon its mother’s breast. -Jean Nicolas (J N) Grou
