Warning, Winning, Watching 02-12-22

_ 012016 KNOWLEDGE

Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good yes He is good and worthy of all praise! The message today is short and very sweet. It’s about three things spiritual leaders should always be doing. Let the scripture bless you today and everyday.

Today’s Prayer

Father, “we asked for strength, that we might achieve; we were made weak, that we might learn humbly to obey.” How often when we are weak we find ourselves forced to turn to You, to wait upon You. It’s then in the quietness of one’s “solitude” that one senses Your presence, and Your comforting assurance and peace. It’s then that one learns, as the Apostle Paul did, that our weakness is Your opportunity to show Your strength, and that Your strength is indeed sufficient for our needs! Once we discover this, and seek to learn Your will, we have only to obey. Forgive us for running ahead of You, and thinking that we can manage our lives without You. In the wonderful name of Jesus we pray and give thanks, Amen and Amen.

Let’s eat.

Warning, Winning, Watching

Warning them from Christ

Acts 20:31-32

Watch out! Remember the three years I was with you—my constant watch and care over you night and day, and my many tears for you. “And now I entrust you to God and the message of his grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance with all those he has set apart for himself.

Preacher; winning them to Christ

Proverbs 11:25-30

The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. People curse those who hoard their grain, but they bless the one who sells in time of need. If you search for good, you will find favor; but if you search for evil, it will find you! Trust in your money and down you go! But the godly flourish like leaves in spring. Those who bring trouble on their families inherit the wind. The fool will be a servant to the wise. The seeds of good deeds become a tree of life; a wise person wins friends.

Soul winner; watching them for Christ

Hebrews 13:17

Obey your spiritual leaders, and do what they say. Their work is to watch over your souls, and they are accountable to God. Give them reason to do this with joy and not with sorrow. That would certainly not be for your benefit.
